How Lucky Can You Get

While watching the Food Network television show “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” with Guy Fieri, I learned about Lucky’s Café located in Cleveland, Ohio’s Tremont District.
I recently traveled to Cleveland to see my family and to attend a class reunion. Based on Guy’s review of Lucky’s, my daughter and I enjoyed breakfast together. I selected the Biscuits and Gravy that included home-made biscuits, covered with scrambled eggs, the best sausage gravy I have ever eaten, and topped with locally grown scallions. The meal also included home fried potatoes and a generous portion of fresh grapes.
Our waitress pointed-out the vegie garden located next door to the restaurant where fresh harvested vegetables are used in many of the meals served at Lucky’s. I rated the experience with an A.
