Deco Deli

     The craziest thing happened. The TBC group went downtown to review the new Deco Deli which is just north of the Atlas Building entrance. In the ads it opens at 8’oclock in the morning and so says the signage on the door. However, when we got there, about 8:15am, it was locked and dark inside. Yes, somebody was sleeping late.

     While we were in the neighborhood, we decided to give Atlas Grill a follow up review. It was a stroke of luck. We sat in the lobby and the nicest associate came to our table for our order. She was personality plus, like a breath of fresh air and not too difficult to look at. We soon forgot about the Deco Deli.

     We ate breakfast there and for some reason it tasted better than before. I think it was the home-style potatoes. This time they had lightly sautéed sliced onions and jalapenos mixed in and the diced potatoes were cut a little smaller. It also could have been that I was extra hungry having depleted myself playing Racquetball earlier.
