Morning Fastbreakers

Dear Readers,

Today we visited the third Mom’s. It is called Mom’s Cook House at 61st and Mingo. You can’t miss it. It has large red flags that say “Open” all around the parking lot. It is on the NE corner.

Mom’s Cook House is a step up from Mom’s Family Diner, with fashionable high chairs and tables, large contemporary paintings on the walls, and a kind of sports bar on one side. The ambiance is altogether different.

We had a guest, Jim Lane, join us for breakfast. Jim is a familiar personality in Tulsa, especially if you have used A-Best Roofing to protect your house. He is the founder and has been featured in Tulsa People Magazine and others.

Jim and one of the Breakers had 2 eggs with ½ country ham steak. It came with crisp hash browns and toast. Jim had his eggs poached with wheat toast and the breaker had medium hard eggs with white toast.

The third breaker had the Meat Lovers Omelette. It is a Skillet dish with 2 eggs scrambled and heaping portions of Cheddar and Jack cheese, diced country ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. He said it was delicious.

In all of our excitement to dig in, we forgot to take before pictures. It was that good. We did, however, take after shots. Notice how clean the dish is. The other is of the take home box.

We each gave Mom's Cook House an "A."

By the way, can you tell which social class we are each in by the descriptions on the home page?????????
